Location: On 90W between Pembroke and Depew exit

We just left Darien Lake... getting there from Rochester was painstakingly slow. There was an accident on 90 and traffic was crawling for about 5 miles.

We stoped at Darien to pick up Matthew's season pass. Then we decided to go into the park for a couple rides. It was great... empty, no one there except half a dozen busses of school kids. Everything was a walkon. They were still running 2 trains on Predator though. We rode once in the back seat.. and then no one was waiting so we switched to the front and had the whole train to ourselves. They were only running the one train on Superman, but we still managed to get 3 rides without going through the line again... people don't know how to distribute themselves very evenly I guess. :)

So now, we have about 5 hours of driving left before we get to Cedar Point.

The book I read about the people who's house burned up in a San Fran fire and how they decided to hit the road afterwards just really hits home for me. I'm planning on going through it with a highlighter the next time I read it. But for now, just the parts I can remember: "Wondering is safe, finding out might be an adventure." And something about how when you're on a trip the worst part is the time you spend between points of interest on your itenerary, the actual traveling that causes us to ask 'are we there yet?' But if you havec no itenerary, no schedule, no 'are we there yet?' then you're more likely to enjoy the inbetween time.
