The naming of cats...
Jul. 21st, 2000 10:35 amSo yeah.. I have 2 kittens now. They're the cutest little widdle tings! One's asleep in my lap as I type this. :) Awwwe...
I haven't had a kitten in 11 years... and I've never had 2 of them.. they're so much fun to watch. And so sweet that you can't help but forgive them for climbing up the back of your neck.
They were playing all morning and found all kinds of fun things to get into :) Now they're sleeping.. one on my lap.. the other under a night stand.
They don't have names yet.. I hate naming animals before you know their personalities... of course cats are totally different animals than kittens, so I'd rather give them a name they'll grow into instead of just calling them Fluffy and Puffball when they'll have to live with those names for the rest of their lives...
The naming of cats is a difficult matter,
it isn't just one of your holiday games.
You may think at first I'm as mad as a hatter,
When I tell you a cat must have three different names.
etc etc... T.S. Eliot was a genious... yeah :)
This is my boy here...

He's more skiddish than my sleepy baby girl is...

But they are both incredibly playful...

There's actually more (bad) pictures in my photopoint album.
Time for a catnap!
