Carpe Diem?
Sep. 5th, 2000 10:55 pmEvery morning in Africa a gazella wakes up. He knows that it must run faster than the fastest Lion or it will be eaten.
Every morning in Africa a Lion wakes up. He knows that he must run faster than the fastest gazella or he will have no food.
It doesn't matter if you are a Lion or a gazella. When the Sun comes up in the morning, you had better be running.
--An African Proverb
"For a long time it had seemed to me that life was about to begin -real life. But there was always some obstacle in the way, something to be gotten through first, some unfinished business, time still to be served, a debt to be paid. Then life would begin. At last it dawned on me that these obstacles were my life."
