The longer we stay the earlier it gets
Jan. 4th, 2005 01:01 pmThere are 2 clocks at Sandy's (the diner-type cafe we eat at). I could see them both today from my seat in the corner booth.
One said about 12:10 and the other said around 11:48. It was closer to 12:10, and I commented on the one clock running slow!
I looked again and it was 12:15 and 11:45....
Again and it was 12:25 and 11:35. It was at this point that I first said "that clock is going backwards!"
Jason and John couldn't see it easily and told me I was insane.
I'm right though! As we left the clock said 11:25.
I was about to ask the waitress about it... And then John leaned way out so he could see it around the pole and said that the numbers were backwards too. Eagle eyes. :)
