Re: Stuck at 'work'

Well, I'm stuck at the Navy Yard. I just dropped in for a few minutes to see
Peter and the other people I missed last week. Now they're taking me out to
lunch! Oh well. We'll go at 11, so it isn't too bad. People keep telling me
about the opening because Jeff Jacques is leaving. An interesting turn of
events, and it would be a way for me to get back down here, hopefully
quickly. I wouldn't even have to transfer too much, just from 4.8.2 to 4.8.1.
It would be better to jump into the CVN 21 program as an assistant, but if
they can't find anyone else to send then they should try me. Not sure I'd
want that job for long, but it's another option.

I have to drive back to the house though, 1 hour, and then pack for NJ (3
days), 1 hour, and then drive up there (3.5 hours). Hopefully get there
before dark because my car's headlights are still not working! I discovered
this on Friday night. The Honda place wanted me to drop my car off and leave
it today. Not going to happen. So I'll try the one in NJ. Jason should be
back tomorrow and can give me a ride.

I can't believe that its FY06 already
