Nice Surprise

Joe's neighbor has wireless. I found this out when I brought over my extra apple basestation to set it up for them here and discovered 2 networks. I was wondering why the signal was so weak on an AP sitting right next to me! Not protected either. Yay for free internet. If it was my neighbor I'd approach them to share. I have to be home between 11 and 1 tomorrow for the cable guy at my new place. Wonder how I'm going to take that much time for lunch.. hmm.

My parents were about to take off on a really long road trip. They spent weeks skiing in Colorado and because of that rented the condo for this year.

I discovered I could post pictures from my hiptop onto livejournal. I haven't done this in a while because I usually just use the email posting option now to send notes from my phone instead.

I was amazed about people spending REAL money on PLAY money for The Sims Online. Even now ebay has six pages of auctions for Simoleons. What a way to earn your living... "I gotta play the sims mom! I just sold 1 million simoleons for $80 on ebay!"

I visited Aunt Jeanne's new house for the first time. They have a hot tub. Now that I think about it, I've probably only been back there once or twice since then. Wow.

I'd just gotten new ski boots, I still love them!

I was home in Binghamton visiting Blacky. I miss him. :(

I was getting ready to go to California to visit Dale. What a great trip out there that was.

I made my first posts on May 17, 2000. Remind me to celebrate the anniversary when it comes around. I guess a lifetime LJ account would have paid for itself by now, huh? At least I'm an early adopter. :)
