Airshow pictures and weekend happenings

I need to remember to give him credit for them.
I finished (for real) and submitted my paper last night. You might not believe it, but I think this is the first time I ever wrote a 20+ page paper! How did I ever manage that? I guess engineers don't write that much really... not for undergrad classes. My last class only has 7 more weeks to go. Whee!
Mom and Dad are here. They came yesterday afternoon. We walked around Island Heights. Left at 7 and got home after dark. There's a lot more streets up there than I had realized, I definitely need to go skate up the hill sometime. Joe's scared about getting back Down the hill, but I think he'll make it. Can always walk in the grass.
Tonight I have my band concert at 8. It'll be long. I hope people enjoy it. I always wonder about 2 hour long sit-down concerts. I remember how antsy I'd get at music camp when we had to go to concerts Every night. But those weren't 2 hours long normally. We have 3 soloists, all women, and a bunch more songs all with a female theme.. I guess for Mother's Day, right? :)
Mom and I went to K-Mart this afternoon and bought a little grill for $25. We'll use it tomorrow for Spiedies. If it works out good I'm going to get one for myself. I have room for a real grill... but I'm not about to go buy one. Maybe someone will want to throw one out or something. :)
I hung up my little camping hammock that I bought as an impulse item 2 summers ago. It fits great between the two trees near the shed in the back yard. I need to get some rope to leave up there permanently and put the hammock on clips (carbines maybe) so I can take it down and store it in the shed. It's not strong enough rope to leave up there permanently. It would disintegrate by July.
