DETAILS:
A new virus has been identified on the Internet called the "W32.Wallon.Alpha@mm". This virus delivers an email to a user that contains a subject line of "Re:" and a hyperlink that redirects the user to an infected website, which downloads the virus onto a users PC (a hyperlink is an electronic link within a document that provides access between that document and a website). Hyperlinks are typically marked in blue underline and look similar to the Homeport link at the top of this document.
As an anti-virus measure, all emails with a subject line of "Re:" will be deleted without any notification to the user. Emails with valid subject lines will not be deleted.
REQUIRED ACTIONS:
Users should ensure that there is a legitimate subject line in all outgoing emails.
