So that's OFF
Nov. 8th, 2004 05:55 pmWell I got the house in Lakehurst if I want it...
But this guy is insane. He says the 1st floor tenant is responsible for the lawn and snow removal. Bad enough.. he then sends me this:
Sara: I have no idea about the utilities since I have not lived at the house. You'll have to call a gas company for the gas (stove and oven). The company name and phone number are on the outside gas tank.
You'll have to call the electric company, and the telephone company, if you don't want to use your cellular as your main number. Other than that will be the cable company for the TV reception.
I know the house has a 220v line, but I don't know if there is a 220v outlet in the basement. I don't have any hook ups for appliances at the basement that I am aware of. I'll double check tomorrow.
Let me remind you as well that the monthly rent payment will be as follows:
Rent $1,100.00
Oil 120.00
Water and sewer 48.00
TOTAL $1,268.00 every month.
I understand you will be moving on Saturday, November 20th, right? I have on schedule the cleaning of the boiler for that day (In the morning). I hope this wont be an inconvenience for you. This is in preparation for the heating season, and it will take place in the basement, so we'll be out of your way.
No problem with the lease signing. We'll do it when you return to Lakehurst. Have a nice trip to Washington... Edgar.
I TALKED to Gordon today about his house having OIL heat.. he says it's GREAT! Only costs $100 to fill their tank and they only do that about 3 times a year. As for WATER... well... unless Lakehurst is really strange that price is WAY too much... in Toms River I'm paying $8 whenever they send me a bill.. which is NOT every month. Where the heck does he get $48 from???
Anyway.... it was an idea.. but I'm not moving there! Yikes!
