I've got skiing on the brain, so what better use of my time than planning the Telluride trip details (www.deafski.com)
Flights from BWI, DCA, and Dulles all cost about the same amount. Flying to Montrose, CO is cheaper than to Telluride. If you fly United you transfer through Dallas, not exactly direct. American goes through Denver. Flights to denver are $200 less, unless you want a direct flight, then it's about the same as going to Montrose.
The cheapest flights are Friday to Friday, but the hotel and conference are Sunday to Sunday. Flights arrive back to DC late, so maybe coming back on Saturday would be smarter.
We could fly to Denver on Saturday and rent a car and have a really scenic, easy 2 day drive... easy unless it snows a lot! Oohh.. as a Real Skier, that would mean stopping at A-Basin to ski there too.... yep. ABasin, Copper and Loveland are open now. Weekend trips to Denver leaving TOMORROW with flight and hotel cost $350 per person. :)
Time to eat. I had to post this or I'd drive Don nuts. :)
