My saxophone ensemble is performing two pieces in the middle of the Charlottesville Municipal Band concert tonight. We had a last minute rehearsal last night that went quite well and I think we'll sound great. One of the pieces has a fun but fast and technical final movement and I know I was more comfortable with it several months ago when we first learned it, but I think it will be fine too. There May be the possibility of a recording, but video taping isn't allowed in the Paramount theater.
If you'd like to come, the concert is free and begins at 8 PM at the historic Paramount theater on the downtown mall. Free parking at the Lexis Nexus lot at the pavilion (East) end of the mall.
Ironically, I have no idea what the band itself is playing as I missed the last rehearsal. Hopefully not too many marches!
