Moved again
Aug. 11th, 2004 01:44 pmWe're now at Central Grenadier... It took about 1.5-2 hours to get here. We were even with GoGo (sailing downwind with just the jib) up until we passed the end of the island past Hill and they had more open wind. We cut across the channel there to stay out of the way of the tour boats.
Grenadier is easy to see because there's a red light tower raised up on the end... And of course the Parks Canada sign. We came up the South side from West Grenadier to Central.
Here at Central Grenadier is a luxury park... There is running water (boil before drinking) and flush toilets and maybe a shower... Not sure.
Also, electricity! Good thing, I need to charge my camera battery so we can stop at the Hill Island tower on the way home.
Tomorrow we'll have to head back West.
